Herbs For Eyes: Remedies From Years Ago

And since ginseng is commonly used for longevity, research shows that when you combine it with lyceum, it would also be an effective anti-aging medication. Schizandra is said to be a primary detoxifying herb for your liver and helps in preventing liver damage that also helps in preventing liver fatigue. Other researches on Schizandra indicate that it has high antioxidant properties and liver protective compounds.

Other Herbs

There are other herbs for eyes that could be used in improving your vision like the bilberry and studies have shown that it has medicinal properties that helps in the circulation of blood and enhance oxygen levels in the eyes. It is also used in preventing poor vision, cataracts, retinopathy, and glaucoma.

Though it may be good in treating coughs, bronchitis, and an excellent vaginal douche, althea is also good for the eyes. Althea could be used in treating eye irritation as well as burns, wounds, carbuncles, and other irritated tissues. And if you have eye strain, tired eyes, or inflammation, another good herb for eyes is the red eyebright.

With the proper concoction of these herbs for eyes, you are sure to have an excellent alternative medicine or remedy that is proven to be just as effective and has been used by Ancient Chinese thousands of years ago.
